Next I sketch ideas and jot down notes. Servers walk between tables of diners with various types of meats ready to carve slices onto plates. Some of the products are so fresh that they must be kept refrigerated and all are dated with a shelf life. When visiting a lush store, customers have the opportunity to see and smell unwrapped stacks of soaps of all different colors and textures. The company is unique in that it sells over 50 flavors. For this packaging I drew inspiration from one of the most beloved Faygo flavors: Rock & Rye. Rock and rye whiskey, which the soda is named after, became popular during the jazz age era, a time of flappers, the charleston, and speakeasies.
